WORLD CUSTOMS ORGANIZATION: SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS – 2019

2019 in the scientific aspect was devoted to the formation of the Institute of Digital (Electronic Customs) at the World Customs Organization. All scientific-research materials are available in the domain “Russian Customs Academy: SCIENCE”. We hope this brings to popularization of the WCO and helps students, graduate students, as well as experts of Customs Administrations in studying the features of the functioning of the World Customs Organization. It is worth emphasizing that the WCO is a leading international organization, within the framework of which the modern instrument, tools of customs regulation and trade facilitation are developed.

In 2020 our attention is focused on the complex scientific study and systematization of WCO instrument, tools of customs regulation in the context of customs law institutes created by the international customs community. This issue is extremely relevant in the work of the Eurasian Economic Commission to modernize the law of the Eurasian Economic Union in the field of customs regulation. At the moment, we have created an appropriate Methodological approach for these purposes. I believe that a series of scientific publications on this topic will be a matter of interest to both the scientific and expert community and the Secretariat of the World Customs Organization. We also hope that the results of the study can be used as part of the ongoing work of the WCO on the revision of the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures (RKC).
