As part of the agreements between the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC, Commission) and the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Department of Customs Legislation (Department) held a lecture for students of the International Law Faculty of this Academy. The topic of the lesson was the improvement of customs regulation in the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU, Union), the prospects for development of digital innovative technologies in the EEU customs sphere, as well as building productive relations between the Commission and the World Customs Organization (WCO).

В рамках договоренностей Евразийской экономической комиссии (далее – ЕЭК, Комиссия) и Всероссийской академии внешней торговли Минэкономразвития России представители Департамента таможенного законодательства и правоприменительной практики (далее – Департамент) провели лекцию для студентов международно-правового факультета этого вуза. В Ростовском филиале Российской таможенной академии состоялся научно-исследовательский семинар «Актуальные вопросы функционирования таможенной системы», организованный факультетом таможенного дела и кафедрой товароведения и таможенной экспертизы. В рамках семинара обсуждались вопросы функционирования системы прослеживаемости и цифровой маркировки товаров, а также роль таможенных органов в функционировании этих систем.
The World Customs Organization (WCO and the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) are pleased to announce the translation and launch of the WCO and Egmont Group members’ version of the Customs – FIU Cooperation Handbook (CFCH) in four additional languages. The CFCH has recently been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Russian. The CFCH was conceptualized and created by experts from the WCO Anti-money Laundering and Counter-terrorism Financing Programme and the Egmont Group, to include the FIUs of Hungary, Germany and Denmark. The CFCH was designed to serve as both a reference tool and a guide for all Customs services and FIUs in their daily effort to combat illicit financial flows touching upon the Customs arena.
With the theme “Customs united effort on Recovery, Renewal and Resilience for a sustainable E-Commerce supply chain”, the Conference will bring together policy and decision makers, as well as operational experts from Customs, E-Commerce operators, international organizations, and other stakeholders. Considering the benefits of full implementation of the WCO E-Commerce Framework of Standards and the associated E-Commerce Package, Members and stakeholders will discuss Customs procedures renewal and innovation under COVID-19with the use of data and technologies for E-Commerce supply chain continuity. The event will stimulate and advance strategic thinking towards fostering innovative and inclusive partnership with E-Commerce stakeholders for a secure, sustainable and resilient cross-border E-Commerce environment.
18 мая в Санкт-Петербургском филиале Российской таможенной академии в рамках Всероссийской научно-практической конференции «Актуальные направления развития таможенного дела Российской Федерации в современных условиях» кафедрой таможенных операций и таможенного контроля была проведено заседание секции «Таможенное администрирование в условиях функционирования ЕАЭС».
