From 10 to 12 October 2023, the WCO Customs Technology Conference will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Under the theme “Embracing the Digital Age: Leveraging Technology, Fostering Innovation, and Nurturing the Next Generation of Customs Professionals”, the 2023 WCO Technology Conference is aimed at exploring how innovation and technology can support Customs in performing its functions of trade facilitation, protection of society and revenue collection, while placing people at the heart of the digital transformation process.

JOINT WCO-UPU GLOBAL CONFERENCE «CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR CROSS-BORDER E-COMMERCE THROUGH CUSTOMS AND POSTAL COOPERATION»

On June 6-8, 2023 the conference is jointly organized by the WCO and the UPU, hosted by the Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan Customs and Japan Post, under the theme “Challenges and opportunities for cross-border e-commerce through Customs and Postal cooperation” as a first significant and symbolic step under the new Agreement. Japan has also shared its willingness to host the event to contribute to promoting cooperation between Customs and Designated Operators (DOs) at international and national levels.

INTERNATIONAL FORUM “INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MARKET”

As part of the International Intellectual Property Days under the auspices of the UN on April 21, 2023 in Moscow on the basis of the Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafin (MSAL) the XIV International Forum «Innovative Development through the Intellectual Property Market» will be held. The International Forum is held on an annual basis and invariably gathers delegations from all countries of the EAEU and the CIS. The forum provides for  physical / virtual participation of representatives of educational, scientific organizations, corporations and enterprises, authorities from the regions of Russia, the EAEU and the CIS countries, the delegation of China, India, African countries and the Arab world, where the result of public discussion will be draft national and interstate standards and the development practical recommendations for international organizations, the Union State, national parliaments and governments of countries in the Eurasian Union.
