We bring to your attention another reserch paper «Legal and organizational basis for economic and customs unions to get the status of member of the World Customs Organization» related to the activities of the World Customs Organization, which is the only international forum represented by the majority of the customs administrations of the world, and within the walls of which a wide range of issues of customs regulation and trade facilitation are considered on an ongoing basis. The World Customs Organization (WCO) participated in the 30th Anniversary of the International Federation of Customs Brokers Association (IFCBA), held in Singapore, on 12 and 13 December 2022. The conference brought together 45 customs brokers from Africa, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, representing countries at different levels of development, with large and small companies, whose experience in using the Harmonized System (HS) is also quite different.

IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Actual issues of customs in the Eurasian Economic Union» began its work at the Russian Customs Academy. The organizer is the Customs Faculty of the Academy.
During the 12th Session of the Capacity Building Committee (CBC 12), delegates requested the Secretariat to explore the use of a comprehensive and consistent evaluation model that could be applied to the WCO learning and development activities. To this end, the WCO, in consultation with its members and partners, has embarked on the development of a guide on how to evaluate WCO training and development activities, including a range of tools, templates and guidelines for carrying out the evaluation at different levels, based on a result/impact assessment approach.

From November 14 to November 18, 2022, the Rostov Branch of the Russian Customs Academy hosted the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference «Peculiarities of state regulation of foreign economic activity in modern conditions», which was attended by practitioners from the customs authorities, representatives of state and commercial organizations, professors teaching staff of the Russian Customs Academy and its branches, as well as teachers of universities in Russia and foreign countries (program of events). The main goal of the conference is the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of customs, digital economy and digital technologies, which are actively used in the system of customs administration.
