
Let us present the analytical review «Organizational and Legal Framework for Development of Electronic Commerce: the Experience of the Eurasian Economic Union», 2026.

The research paper examines the organizational and legal basis for development of e-commerce in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), as well as the approaches of the World Customs Organization to improve customs administration of cross-border e-commerce.
Analytical review contains analysis of the EEU legal instruments developed by the Eurasian Economic Commission jointly with the EEU Member States as part of the implementation of the order of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council as well as the Strategic directions for development of the Eurasian economic integration until 2025 in terms of regulating the institution of electronic commerce.
This study was prepared in the context of the implementation of paragraphs 76-78 of the Summary Report of the 249/250 sessions of the WCO PTC, 28-30 October 2025, regarding the EEC readiness to familiarize the WCO with the EEU experience and legal acts on customs administration of the institution of e-commerce.
