This time we bring to your attention an analytical review “International legal status of observers in the World Customs Organization”. The author of the study is Sergei Mozer, Ph.D, Senior Researcher at the Research Institute of the Russian Customs Academy.

We bring to your attention the Glossary of the WCO International Customs Terms, compiled by the author in 2021 as part of his participation in the work of the Revised Kyoto Convention Management Committee, which is carried out by the WCO Secretariat, international customs community and observers, including the Eurasian Economic Commission, on modernization of International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures.

Предлагаем Вашему вниманию Глоссарий международных таможенных терминов Всемирной таможенной организации (ВТамО), составленный автором в 2021 г. в рамках участия в работе Управляющего комитета по пересмотренной Киотской конвенции, которая проводится Секретариатом ВТамО, международным таможенным сообществом и наблюдателями, включая Евразийскую экономическую комиссию, по модернизации Международной конвенции об упрощении и гармонизации таможенных процедур.
В Российской таможенной академии завершился Международный конкурс научных работ молодых исследователей в области таможенного дела. В Конкурсе приняли участие 25 аспирантов российских и зарубежных вузов, представивших свои научные работы для рассмотрения.
From 24 to 28 January 2022, the World Customs Organization (WCO) delivered an Online Regional Workshop on Cross-Border E-Commerce for the WCO Europe region. The event was organized in cooperation with the Europe Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB Europe) who provided interpretation and the web-conferencing platform for the workshop. Close to 100 experts from 37 Member Customs administrations, as well as from designated postal operators from the Europe region, shared their experiences, along with information and insights provided by workshop facilitators and speakers from the Universal Postal Union, the Global Express Association, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, Alibaba Cainiao, Amazon and DHL.
