With the theme “Customs united effort on Recovery, Renewal and Resilience for a sustainable E-Commerce supply chain”, the Conference will bring together policy and decision makers, as well as operational experts from Customs, E-Commerce operators, international organizations, and other stakeholders. Considering the benefits of full implementation of the WCO E-Commerce Framework of Standards and the associated E-Commerce Package, Members and stakeholders will discuss Customs procedures renewal and innovation under COVID-19with the use of data and technologies for E-Commerce supply chain continuity. The event will stimulate and advance strategic thinking towards fostering innovative and inclusive partnership with E-Commerce stakeholders for a secure, sustainable and resilient cross-border E-Commerce environment.

The Virtual Working Group on Gender Equality and Diversity welcomes new Members and initiatives
WCO Members of the Virtual Working Group on Gender Equality & Diversity gathered on the 12th of April to discuss recent achievement and current work to promote gender equality and diversity in Customs. The meeting provided an opportunity for representatives from 14 Customs administrations (Argentina, Brazil, Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, the Maldives, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, United States, Zambia and Zimbabwe) to exchange. Information was shared on recent achievements including the launch of the Compendium on Gender Equality and Diversity in Customs showcasing examples from 17 Customs administrations around the world. VWG Members were also informed on the progress of current work including the enhancement of the WCO Blended Training Package on Advancing Gender Equality and Diversity in Customs.
WCO Regional Workshop on Data Analytics for A/P region
The virtual Workshop on Data Analytics (DA) for manager levels in the Asia-Pacific (AP) region, organized in close cooperation with ROCB AP, was held from 30 March to 1 April 2021, supported by CCF-Korea. Sixty four participants from 21 Customs administrations in the AP region attended the workshop.

On March 24, 2021, a scientific and practical event was held at the Russian Customs Academy – the IV session of the Moscow International Model of the World Customs Organization, which gathered more than 50 participants from various countries. The event was held in the videoconference mode. The organizer – the Customs Faculty of the Academy.
WCO Regional Workshop on Data Analytics for WCA region
The World Customs Organization (WCO) virtual workshop on Data Analytics (DA) for manager levels in the West and Central Africa (WCA) region was held from 18th to 19th March 2021, supported by CCF-Korea. The workshop was attended by 56 participants from 19 Customs Administrations of the Western Central Africa region and 2 additional participants from France and Korea.
