The Eurasian Economic Commission, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Federal Customs Service and the Russian Export Center (REC) held a demonstration of pilot projects to develop a national mechanism of the “single window” in the Russian Federation as part of the implementation of Strategy-2025.
The event was attended by representatives of the Commission, customs services, government bodies and businesses of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union involved in the project to develop national mechanisms of the “single window”.
The Russian side demonstrated the work of the complex of information and software tools of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, including the “Sea Portal” and the automated subsystem “Personal Account Services Component”, as well as the REC digital platform “My Export”.
During the demonstration of pilot projects, the relevance of the reference model of the national mechanism of the “single window” for regulating foreign economic activity, developed by the customs cooperation block of the Commission and the Union states, was noted.
The pilot projects were highly appreciated by representatives of the parties. They emphasized that this is about developing advanced customs technologies, simplifying trade procedures, and more effective interaction between state regulators of foreign economic activity and business.
The Order of the EEC Council of April 5, 2021 № 4 “On the action plan for the implementation of the Strategic Directions for the Development of Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025” defines measures, mechanisms, and activities for the implementation of Strategy-2025. These include activities related to demonstrating pilot projects for the implementation of national “single window” mechanisms to ensure their compatibility and the ability to exchange data in the future.
