WCO Asia-Pacific Regional Strategic Workshop on the WCO Security Programme
The Asia-Pacific WCO Security Programme Regional Strategic Workshop was hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia on 25-27 April. Much like events delivered in the other WCO regions over the last twelve months, this workshop raised awareness of the security mandate of Customs administrations as well as WCO Security Programme activities. The event was funded by CCF/Japan and was organized by the Regional Office for Capacity Building- Asia Pacific in conjunction with Indonesian Customs. It included presentations by the WCO Security Programme and Member Administrations in the region regarding Customs security-related activities.

Strengthening of Cooperation between Customs and Tax Authorities
At the invitation of Malta’s Presidency of EU and of the European Commission, Taxation and Customs Union Directorate General, the WCO attended the High Level Seminar on Strengthening of Cooperation between Customs and Tax Authorities.
Experts Group Workshop on Post-Clearance Audit (PCA) organized to work on WCO Guildelines
The WCO organized an Experts Group Workshop on Post-Clearance Audit (PCA) at the WCO Headquarters that took place from 24 to 28 April 2017. All 6 regions of the WCO were represented with 10 Customs officers present for the meetings and an additional 6 officers participating remotely utilizing the WCO CLiKC! platform. All 16 officers were able to provide their knowledge and expertise towards the revision of the WCO PCA Guidelines. The Workshop was funded by WCO Reserved Funds.

Участниками и оргкомитетом Модели были подведены итоги заседаний, представлены проекты итоговых отчетов рабочих групп. После окончания заседания последовала церемония награждения делегатов, на которой были отмечены участники, лучше остальных проявившие необходимые качества в течение предыдущих трех дней.
Administrations from Caucasus and Central Asia discuss transit in Tbilisi, Georgia
From 24 to 27 April 2017, the World Customs Organization (WCO) successfully held a regional Transit Workshop for Caucasus and Central Asia region in Tbilisi (Georgia), with the financial support of the Japanese Customs Co-operation Fund and the cooperation of Georgia Revenue Authority.
На Совете ЕЭК принято решение о синхронизации процедур ратификации Таможенного кодекса Евразийского экономического союза.
Одновременно с Кодексом начнут действовать первоочередные решения Комиссии по двадцати пяти вопросам, отнесенным на наднациональный уровень. Они касаются регулирования деятельности уполномоченных экономических операторов, правил перемещения товаров физическими лицами и т.д.

WCO Europe Regional Heads of Customs Conference in Austria
At the invitation of Ms. Bettina Vogl-Lang, Vice-Chair for the Europe Region and Deputy Director General, Austrian Tax and Customs, WCO Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya attended the 2017 Heads of Customs Conference of the Europe Region, held in Vienna, Austria from 19 to 21 April.
