ФТС строит коридор в Евросоюз
Сегодня в РИА Новости состоялась пресс-конференция на тему: “Международная деятельность таможенных органов”. Мероприятие приурочено к Международному дню таможенника, который отмечается 26 января. В процессе обсуждения был затронут ряд вопросов, касающихся международной деятельности Федеральной таможенной службы РФ, а также некоторые аспекты её работы с таможенными службами государств, входящих в состав Таможенного союза. Говорилось и о проводимой работе представительствами ФТС в зарубежных странах.

The Centre for Customs and Excise Studies is undertaking a review of the emerging ‘Accredited Operator’ concept which, internationally and locally, is being espoused by a number of regulatory agencies in the form of ‘Authorised Economic Operator’ (AEO), ‘Regulated Shipper’, ‘Regulated Agent’, ‘Accredited Agent’, ‘Approved Exporter’, and ‘Registered Operator’ programs which have emerged as a result of international initiatives relating to supply chain security and trade facilitation. The research will review the subject from a number of perspectives, including international initiatives, global responses, Australian Government responses, and implications for regulators and the business community as Australia moves forward to implement its own program or programs in parallel with the initiatives of its major trading partners.
WCO National workshop on the Revised Kyoto Conventio
Responding to the invitation made by Royal Customs and Excise Department of Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Yoshihiro Kosaka, Head of the Asia Pacific Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB A/P) as well as a WCO accredited expert on the Revised Kyoto Convention (RKC), visited Bandar Seri Begawan in Brunei Darussalam and conducted the WCO National Workshop on RKC on 13-16 January 2014. It was attended by a total of 29 mid level customs officers of Brunei Customs.
WCO and WTO leaders meet in Geneva
At the invitation of WTO Director General Roberto Azevedo, WCO Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya met with Mr. Azevedo at WTO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland on 20 January 2014. They agreed that close cooperation between the two organizations is vital for successful implementation of the WTO Agreement on Trade Facilitation (ATF).
