SURVEY ON THE RATING OF MATERIALS FOR SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES IS COMPLETED

Dear friends!

On March 20, 2023, a survey “What materials are you interested in for scientific purposes?” was conducted in the «Customs academy:SCIENCE» telegram channel.

Note: today, on the information resource “Customs Academy: SCIENCE” and our telegram channel, we post scientific articles, conference proceedings, international studies, conference videos, webinars, tools of the World Customs Organization and other international institutions, as well as announcements of conferences, expert opinions and information reports on the improvement of customs regulation and trade facilitation.

The results of the survey showed the following:

  1. Among the materials in demand, the leading position is occupied by scientific articles: 56% of survey participants think so.
  2. Second place goes to webinars (WCO, EAEU, ESCAP, UNECE, etc.): 52% of survey participants voted for this position.
  3. The third place is occupied by dissertations (Ph.D.) to be defended, for which 48% of the respondents voted.
  4. Fourth place was shared by international studies, as well as the instruments of the WCO and other international organizations: 44% of the survey participants voted for them.
  5. 36% of survey participants believe that expert opinions are an important source of information for scientific purposes (fifth place).
  6. At the same time, 28% of the voting participants voted for the collections of publications, which took sixth place in our rating.
  7. Federal Customs Service webinars and conference videos shared the 7th place in the ranking among materials used for scientific purposes (24% of votes).
  8. Finally, 16% of the votes of those who took part in the survey voted for conference announcements.
