CURRENT ISSUES OF E-COMMERCE DEVELOPMENT

РУССКИЙ

Dear friends,

Scientific and practical conferences become part of the life of scientists and researchers. As a rule, it is a great platform for discovering new ideas, research results, and, most importantly, new people.

In my opinion, meaningful conferences broaden the horizons of the researcher, and voiced reports can be an excellent source of information for the author’s ongoing scientific research (or they may not be).

Due to my professional activity, I had to take part in domestic and foreign conferences on the issues of improving customs regulation and trade facilitation. Yes, it is interesting. At the same time, of particular interest are studies that, first of all, are of an applied (practical) nature, and the speakers themselves are not divorced from reality and, to a less talk about “the launch of spacecraft that surf the expanses of the cosmic ocean.”

In Russia, traditionally conferences on topical issues of customs development are held in the Russian Customs Academy and its branches, as well as other universities. A separate block is the scientific and practical activities of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

Today we will draw your attention to 2 events on the subject of the development of the e-commerce institute.

The first took place from 28 to 29 June 2021 at the WCO Headquarters on the theme ” Customs united effort on Recovery, Renewal and Resilience for a sustainable E-Commerce supply chain”. The theses voiced at this conference are still relevant. The main language of the events is English.

The second event was organized by the Eurasian Economic Commission on April 7, 2022 on the topic “Development of regulation of electronic commerce in the Eurasian Economic Union”.

I am glad that the recordings of both events are posted in the public domain.

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the video materials of the conferences.
