On February 12, we brought to your attention that in St. Petersburg, from February 16 to February 17, 2023, the conference “Intellectual checkpoint in Russia and the world: a competence approach to creation” will be held. The main organizer of the scientific and practical event is St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University “LETI” named after. V.I.Ulyanov (Lenin), and the ideologist of the conference – Mr. Petr Nikolayevich Afonin, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Engineering Graphics LETI.
We also introduced to you the collection of publication “Intellectual checkpoint in Russia and the world: a competency-based approach to creation”, which was published following the results of the conference held in St. Petersburg on February 10-11, 2022. based on LETI (link).

It is my deep conviction that the conference on the creation of an intellectual checkpoint in Russia organized at LETI is the best, and the published materials in 2022 and 2023 are excellent manuals for studying the technical means of customs control, the information technologies used, and models for organizing work at modern customs checkpoints, as well as studying the issues of customs administration at checkpoints.
