
В рамках договорённостей руководства Российской таможенной академии и таможенного блока Евразийской экономической комиссии (далее – ЕЭК, Комиссия) 17 марта 2020 года Мозер С.В., заместитель начальника отдела перспективных таможенных технологий Департамента таможенного законодательства и правоприменительной практики, кандидат юридических наук, провел лекцию для студентов факультета таможенного дела по темам «Институциональные аспекты деятельности Всемирной таможенной организации» (далее – ВТамО) и «Анализ инструментов таможенного регулирования ВТамО».
The 11th session of the WCO Capacity Building Committee (CBC) was held from 4 to 6 March 2020 under the theme “Manage Change Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”. On the first day, the Committee held a Joint Session with the 12th Meeting of the Working Group on the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFAWG).
A National Workshop on the Harmonized System and Tariff Management was held in Luanda, Angola, from 17 to 21 February 2020. The Workshop focused on both current issues and preparation for the implementation of the 2022 edition of the HS. The Workshop was organized jointly by the WCO and the Customs Administration of Angola (AGT), with the support of the EU-WCO Programme for HS in Africa, funded by the European Union. It was facilitated by experts from both the WCO Secretariat and the Customs Administration of Brazil. It was attended by 30 officials from all regions of Angola and the Headquarters that work on tariff classification related areas.
The WCO Trade Facilitation Agreement Working Group (TFAWG) met for the 12th time on 4 and 5 March 2020 in Brussels at the WCO’s Headquarters. The meeting included a Joint Session with the Capacity Building Committee (CBC). Delegates, representing Customs, other Border Agencies and Trade Ministries from WCO Members, Observers from several International Organizations, the Private Sector and Academia participated in the event. The Meeting was chaired by Mr. L. Satya Srinivas (India).

Under the auspices of the WCO/JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) Joint Project, the fourth Working Group activity (WG4) of the Master Trainers Programme (MTP) on Post Clearance Audit (PCA) was held in Kampala, Uganda on 10-14 February 2020. A total of nineteen (19) customs officials from East Africa, who has been nominated as the PCA WG members got together again for this WCO/JICA joint sub-regional workshop to make another progress to achieve the ultimate objective of the MTP.
A face-to-face meeting of the WCO Working Group on E-Commerce (WGEC) was held at the WCO Headquarters in Brussels from 12 to 14 February 2020. The meeting brought together close to 120 delegates from Member Customs administrations, partner international organizations, representatives of the postal and express service industry, e-vendors, e-commerce platforms, logistics service providers, Customs brokers and technology service providers.
