Building a reliable digital landscape: WCO IT Conference kicks off in Lima, Peru
On 6 June, the WCO IT Conference and Exhibition (WCO ITC) 2018 opened its doors to more than 500 delegates from over 75 countries from all around the world in Lima, Peru. This 17th edition of the WCO IT Conference is being co-hosted by the Customs and Tax Administration of Peru (SUNAT), and with support from the Korea Customs Service (KCS) and the private sector.

WCO supports the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus in developing IT to allow automated release of goods in transit
In the period 19-23 March 2018, the WCO delivered a National Transit Workshop in Belarus with the objective of assisting the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus in developing IT to allow automated release of goods in transit. The workshop was organized with the support of the German Customs Cooperation Fund.
Successful conclusion of the 4th WCO Global AEO Conference
The 4th WCO Global AEO Conference – ‘Promoting Mutual Recognition of AEOs to Strengthen and Secure Global Trade’ concluded in Kampala, Uganda on 16 March 2018. The conference brought together more than 1100 participants from 95 countries and provided a platform for 125 speakers.
